I tossed my damaged motorcycle up on craigslist for $500, and was very clear about the damage in the ad I posted.
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
Responses in the last 9 hours:
-Offer to trade a “PS4 and 8 games”
-Offer to trade “2 12" r2 Rockford fosgate subs and a Rockford fosgate amp”
-Two more “Wanna trade?” emails without even an offer of what they want to trade.
-Someone asking me “Is run good?”
-People asking me if the bike is still available: 4
EDIT at the 20 hour mark:
-Email consisting of “Call me [phone number]”
-Actual email with coherent grammar, a reasonable request(bigger pics of damage), a request to see the bike, and a politely sympathetic note about my crash/injury. I’ve got high hopes for this guy.

1) I feel your pain. CL can be a junk show.
2) At least it’s not the string along - 5 or 6 emails, then silence.
3) Were I closer to your location, I might actually buy it off ya, but I’ve got too many bikes and not enough space.
GL with it, though. You’ll find a buyer soon. Oddly, you might find that raising the price a bit will weed out the bullshit tirekickers and you can always come down if someone shoots an offer you’re happy with.

Book on the bike in good condition is $750, and they go for under $1000 locally. So there isn’t much room to move up with a crashed bike.

I sold my track only motorcycle and despite being very clear about what it did and didn’t have in the ad I think I got close to 15 emails/texts asking “what does it need to be street legal and how much would it cost?”
